This session will show you how to use labels to make your VLE page easier for students to navigate. It will also show you how to make labels more eye catching by the use of different types of text and even adding images to a label to make it stand out more.
In this session, you will discover how to addd materials to your VLE page as integrated web pages with a consistent look to the rest of the VLE pages. You will also learn the advantages of including materials as web pages rather than as uploaded materials such as Word documents. This session will also show you the quick and easy way to turn materials into web pages, and how to avoid some of the pitfalls of doing so
This session will show you how to add files to your VLE page, and how to use folders to organise you VLE materials. In addition, you will discover how to add links to your VLE page and investigate how the use of links can enhance the student experience of the VLE.
This session will explore some of the ways that forums can be used to allow students to interact with each other and also with teachers, to enhance collaborative learning and peer assessment.
In this session, you will investigate the NLN materials that are already available for you to use as learning objects on your VLE page. You will also look at a brief overview of the porduction of IMS materials using eXe learning software. Although there is no tutorial for the use of eXe learning software, it gives you the opportunity to review if it would be useful and request tutorials for the future.
This session will explore how to use the social stream on your VLE and make your VLE interactively.
