Next week the higher GCSE students will be continuing to look at geometry and angles.

When looking at geometry they will be looking at shape facts and angle rules for different shapes (eg the internal angles of all triangles is 180 degrees etc). They will also be using angle facts to solve problems.

The lower GCSE students will be continuing to work with Prime numbers, factors and multiples, expressing prime factors in index form and solving questions using Highest Common Factors and Lowest Common Multiples.

Both groups will also be receiving feedback on their recent assessment and will be looking at exam technique for questions that caused problems during that task.

The functional skills groups will be beginning work on fractions calculating fraction parts and identifying equivalent fractions.
