Next week the lower GCSE group will be finishing looking at graphs and charts, looking at line and scatter graphs and applying their knowledge to interpret them and solve problems. They will also be looking at averages, calculating mean, median and mode as well as discussing their relative advantages and disadvantages.
The higher GCSE groups will be looking at Pythagoras Theorem calculating lengths on a triangle and applying it to problems like measurements of ramps in construction.
The functional skills groups will be receiving feedback from their exam as well as looking at ratio and proportion, comparing relative sizes and quantities, for example in mixtures of dyes and paints or mixing ingredients in recipes.
